We’re committed to giving back to our communities
Studies show that giving back to our communities can boost both physical and mental health amongst our team. Some of the benefits include lower blood pressure, increased self-esteem, lower stress levels, and more. To truly drive home our mission statement of “making a real difference with our people, partnerships, and products,” we’ve introduced our Corporate Giving Program. This program is designed to expand our impact and to “give back,” both as an organization and on an individual level. Here are some of the organizations our team has chosen to donate their time to:
As an organization, we also contribute to causes we believe align with our core values of purpose, authenticity, commitment, and teamwork. Here are some of the initiatives we are supporting:
- We sponsor the annual NewRoads LakeRide, a fundraising campaign in support of the Mental Health program at Southlake Hospital.
- Every year, we participate in Bell Let’s Talk Day in support of Mental Health Awareness. In addition, we made a corporate donation to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
- Following the tragic Humboldt Broncos bus crash in Saskatchewan, our organization made corporate donations to the Humboldt Soup Kitchen, the Humboldt Gathering place, and Skate Humboldt to try and help the community recover.
- We're also a corporate sponsor for Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, an organization dedicated to serving low-income families across Canada.
- In 2020, we made a corporate donation to the Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation of Canada, which supports the facilitation of scientific research treatment and a cure for the Hereditary Neuropathy disease known as Charcot-Marie-Tooth.
