WALKAWAY Finance Protection™ offers consumers a cost-effective way of structuring their automotive lease or finance contract so they have flexible options in a time of need. The product provides Payment Relief™ and vehicle return options when you experience one of the covered circumstances in your policy.
What is a covered circumstance?
While our competitors only cover one or two life events, WALKAWAY Finance Protection covers many. Depending on your level of coverage, these unexpected interruptions would be covered:

WALKAWAY Total Loss Protection™ – to protect your finances from unexpected events
If your vehicle is stolen or damaged beyond repair, your primary auto insurer may choose to write your vehicle off and pay you an amount equal to the market value of your vehicle. In some cases, this payout won’t be enough to cover the balance of what you still owe on your auto loan or lease. This is where WALKAWAY Total Loss Protection can help. It’s designed to reduce or eliminate the balance owing on your auto loan or lease after applying the payment from your primary auto insurer.
What’s covered?
- Up to $50,000 in "gap" coverage
- Up to $1,000 primary insurance deductible
- $500 loyalty credit to be used at the originating dealership to reduce the cost of a replacement vehicle following an approved claim
- Up to 96-month terms
- Loans or leases up to $125,000
- Can be applied to new, demonstrators, and pre-owned vehicles not used for commercial purposes
