I was told it would take 1 week- it did. I got notified exactly at the 1 week mark. The cheque for my GAP insurance was sent that same day and received the next business day. I then got a call from the financial institute letting me know the car had been fully paid off. This was definitely the least stressful part of my write off experience and I appreciated it so much.
